Mercor is hiring on behalf of a leading AI research lab to bring on a Linguistic Expert – Swedish (Sweden), turkey, France and Thailand. This is a part-time, in-person position (10–20 hours per week) at one of our client offices in San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, London, or Singapore. You’ll help refine AI-generated Swedish, ensuring accuracy, fluency, and alignment with Swedish cultural and linguistic norms.

Responsibilities

  • Review, evaluate, and annotate Swedish AI-generated text.

  • Provide guidance on grammar, semantics, tone, and phrasing.

  • Create linguistic resources and documentation.

  • Collaborate with research teams to address Swedish language challenges.

  • Propose improvements to training datasets and algorithms.

Requirements

  • Native-level Swedish (Sweden) proficiency and strong English skills.

  • Excellent grasp of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuance.

  • Bachelor’s in Linguistics, Translation, or equivalent.

  • Experience in content review, editing, or annotation.

  • Knowledge of AI or NLP technologies is beneficial.
