Mercor is hiring on behalf of a leading AI research lab to bring on a Linguistic Expert – Thai (Thailand). This is a part-time, in-person opportunity (10–20 hours per week) at one of the following client offices: San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, London, or Singapore. You’ll help improve AI’s understanding of Thai by ensuring natural language generation that reflects local grammar, tone, and culture.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine AI-generated Thai text for fluency and accuracy.

• Offer feedback on grammar, semantics, tone, and style.

• Create Thai-specific linguistic guidelines and best practices.

• Collaborate with AI teams to address challenges in Thai morphology and context.

• Suggest improvements to datasets and rule-based systems.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Thai (Thailand) and fluency in English.

• Strong understanding of Thai grammar, semantics, and pragmatics.

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, or related field.

• Prior linguistic or annotation experience preferred.

• Familiarity with AI or NLP is a plus.
